ISACA- Adelaide Chapter

ISACA recognized a need for a centralized source of information and guidance in the growing field of auditing controls for computer systems. Today, ISACA has more than 95,000 members worldwide.

The Adelaide Chapter

The Adelaide Chapter was formed on 14 March 1983 and has been an active and vibrant Chapter for 27 years.

Adelaide has an active membership and a dedicated and enthusiastic Board. The Chapter has consistently provided significant input to ISACA at the local, regional and international level. Adelaide has continually contributed well above its weight to a number of key ISACA Boards and Committees over the years, including the Research Board, the Standards Board, and the Global Program Committee. Our immediate Chapter past-president - Jo Stewart-Rattray - is heavily involved at a national, regional and international level, and is the Oceania representative on ISACA International's Security Management Committee. Howard Nicholson, a past Chapter President, and active Chapter member, is currently an International Vice President and as such has a seat on the International ISACA Board.

The Chapter is committed to providing ongoing support and professional development and networking opportunities to its members and has received a number of regional and international awards for it activities.

Professional Development Sessions are held on a regular basis and feature contemporary and leading edge topics utilising high profile local speakers. The Chapter is looking to provide its members with an even greater range of professional development activities which will give CISAs and CISMs more ways to gain Continuing Professional Education (CPE) points.
